Occupation: Food Explorer?
I've been absolutely hooked to National Geographic lately.
Was reading some articles on their website, and came across this one article about a 26-year-old photographer who is a Young Explorer grantee,
with a focus on tropical conservation.
Its so exciting that “explorer” is still a real profession!
For the longest time when I thought of explorer I only thought of the old
worldly Columbuses and Vasco Degamas…
Imagine…
Food explorer: traveling the world, exploring the various historical, cultural, socio economic facets of food. The what’s and why’s of food cultures; the lost nuances, the forgotten stories, the unexplored cuisines!

DeleteFood explorer definitely could be the next big thing in culinary world, beyond photographers and critics it could be another liberation to some very creative minds with the pan.Since I too am in my freshman year for culinary arts, i keep thinking about some wired combinations in this field.
