Native Potatoes - all colours, shapes and sizes!

He is a potato farmer. But not just any ol’ spuds – he grows about 350 varieties of indigenous Peruvian potatoes! The kinds that come in all kinds of colours, shapes and sizes - Peru has over three thousand varieties! And one of the things he does with them is make potato chips – a form of value addition to sell his produce.

"Sumac Chips"
To be honest, I have never seen such beautifully-hued blotches on a potato before. Absolutely gorgeous! So much so, that if they hadn’t been quite so delicious I would have forgotten to eat them, admiring their colors the whole while!

Just look at those colours!
